As per the program went, with cooperation of Principal, staff and children, everything went on well.
12.6.17 SALAD PREPARATION:
Children from Grade IV were in full enthu, participated. All the students able to understand the value of fruits and vegetables. They enjoyed making them and gained confidence that they can serve one dish for their guest and even relish their hunger in absence of their parent.
13.6.17 YOUR SELFIE WITH NATURE:
Your selfie with nature Pictures taken by the students were sent to the school website.
14.6.17 FIELD TRIP:
Field on 14.6.17 to Meivazhisalai, a place where the village is eco-friendly, clean and without electricity. Students from Grade IV to Grade IX were taken. Children learnt not to litter the place and enjoyed the village environment. Field trip on 15.6.17 to that same place, for the students Grade I to Grade III. Children really enjoyed the atmosphere, they played with Goat, saw Monkey, Peacock, Sparrows. ” The most patriotic thing you can do is to take care of the environment and try to live sustainable”….
15.6.17 SLOGAN COMPETITION:
Slogans were written by the primary grade students. Good participation by them .Amazing, students are knowing about scarcity of water, felling of trees, causing pollution to earth and its effects.
16.6.17 COMPOST PIT PREPARATION:
Usually we ask children to bring plants for environmental day but of a change, we asked children to bring red earthworms for school compost pit. Wow, here participation was excellent by the primary students. So that this compost can be used for plants at school.
